Quanero 2 - System Release
Imagine you are a detective in the future, using the best surveillance system ever developed. You can reconstruct entire crime scenes in virtual reality, move freely within the scene and manipulate time to carry out your investigations. This is Quanero - System Release: a new way to experience stories in VR.
HOW TO ACCESS
You will need a VR ready PC and an HTC Vive/Vive Pro/Vive Cosmos, Oculus Rift/Rift S, Valve Index or Windows Mixed Reality headset. You can access the experience on Viveport for free.
ABOUT THE CREATORS
After completing their Bachelor's degree project, Quanero VR, the creators received so much positive feedback from the game's 135,000 players that they decided to produce a second part for their Master's degree. To increase the quality, new techniques like photogrammetry for character generation and performance capture have been used.
